Responsible for the overall leadership of the Home Department ensuring the development and successful
implementation of the Company’s Sales and Marketing strategy
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Works in close association with Managing Director to develop and execute the Company’s Sales and marketing plans
Drives the overall Route to Market (RTM) initiative, conducting continuous route optimization.
Analyzes reviews to ensure all relevant information and corrective actions are reported on a monthly basis
Ensures that all routes are in compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and set targets to ensure capitalization on all available opportunities for the sales team
Determines pricing levels and sales and distribution targets to achieve and exceed annual volume and profit targets.
Builds and maintains strong customer relationships, engaging in negotiations as required to ensure optimum contract terms with new and existing customers.
Performs periodic business unit performance audits and evaluations to ensure that sales and distribution targets are being met or exceeded and that all identified issues are solved to ensure improved business performance
Conducts regular trade visits to ensure all trade activities are being executed in accordance with business unit requirements and standards
Monitors and reports on all competitive activity in the trade including appropriate tactical initiatives to counteract such activity.
Provides procedural direction and guidance to the Sales Team to ensure procedural compliance and sustainable behavioural change
Develops appropriate reward and recognition programmes for the Sales Team consistent with overall, Company policies and values
Monitors and reports on all activity and reconciles to the established targets and goals in accordance with Company and Supplier criteria
Manages Business Unit which includes brand management, forecasting, distributing and trade executions
Oversees all marketing activities which include traditional media, social media and any other promotional activities to ensure that both our suppliers and the company’s objectives are met
Manage advertising budgets to ensure that objectives are met.
Seek out new opportunities to grow the business through new agencies and distribution were possible.
Ensure training and developmental needs are met for the entire team.
Management of the Division’s related operating expenses.
Performs other duties that may be required to enhance the operations of the Company.
Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
A minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in a FMCG environment with at least three (3) years at a managerial level; supply chain exposure would be an asset.
Experience in managing multi-million-dollar sales budgets.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with Advanced Excel Knowledge

Disciplinary action up to and including suspension. Must consult with Division Manager - Premium
Beverages on termination
Purchase order signing authorization up to limits determined by Division Manager - Premium Beverages
Relationships:
Works closely with senior management, sales, marketing, promotions and trade marketing teams
Maintains close working relationships with Principals
Interacts regularly with external customers in the off-trade and on-trade

Effective implementation of Key Account plans
